Product characteristics:
FK-1 is a highly heat stable PC specific additive that can be used alone, in combination with special structured organosilicon/PTFE flame retardants, or in combination with high molecular weight organic phosphate flame retardants to produce transparent or semi transparent halogen-free flame retardant polycarbonate (PC) materials. The general addition amount is only 0.2% -0.5%, which can meet the flame retardant requirements of UL 94 V-0 level.
Applications
Application scope:
1. Product advantages: FK-1 is an efficient and environmentally friendly halogen-free flame retardant with high heat resistance and no precipitation. Widely suitable for transparent or non transparent PC and PC/ABS, with a recommended dosage of 0.3-0.6%, which can reach UL94V-0, 1.8-2.0mm.
2. Application: In PC flame retardant, due to the low addition amount, it is necessary to disperse evenly. Dispersants ESC-748G or ESC-748E can be added, which is very important, otherwise the effect will not be obvious. In order to further achieve uniform dispersion and flame retardant effect, high concentration masterbatch can be made and then pelletized together with PC.
3. Packaging instructions and storage:
Storage: Store at room temperature, as the product is prone to moisture absorption and deliquescence, pay attention to sealing. (If it deliquesces, it can be baked in an oven at 110-120 ºC for 3-4 hours before continuing to use. Even if it clumps, it does not affect product quality.)
Packaging: 25 kg/cardboard drum (lined with PE bags).
