Product Description
FS-20 is a new type of siloxane PC flame retardant, with high flame retardancy (over 1.6mm) efficiency and cost-effectiveness. It can be used alone, in combination with PTFE flame retardant synergists, or in combination with high molecular weight organic phosphate flame retardants to manufacture semi transparent halogen-free flame retardant polycarbonate (PC) materials.

Product characteristics:

Product function and mechanism:
Function: Combustion forms a unique inorganic oxygen insulation protective layer of siloxane, preventing the escape of combustion decomposition products, inhibiting the thermal decomposition of polymer materials, and achieving the goal of flame retardancy, low smoke, and low toxicity
Mechanism: By generating a cracked carbon layer and improving the oxidation resistance of the carbon layer, the flame retardant effect is improved
