FS-16 is a new type of siloxane PC flame retardant, with high flame retardancy (over 1.6mm) efficiency, high temperature resistance, high gloss, high cost-effectiveness, and long-lasting fire resistance; Recommended for PC and PC alloy halogen-free flame retardant applications, while maintaining the original physical properties of PC materials;
Recommended PC flame-retardant products: PC+GF meter casing, wall switch panel, charger casing, etc.
Product Function and Mechanism
Function: Combustion forms a unique inorganic oxygen insulation protective layer of siloxane, preventing the escape of combustion decomposition products, inhibiting the thermal decomposition of polymer materials, and achieving the goal of flame retardancy, low smoke, and low toxicity.
Mechanism: By generating a cracked carbon layer and improving the oxidation resistance of the carbon layer, the flame retardant effect is improved.

Applications
Product characteristics
1. The product is non deliquescent, non hydrolytic, and has excellent fire resistance, with rapid carbon and slag formation
2. Flame retardant products have long-lasting fire resistance, different from silicon-free flame retardant systems
3. Synergistic use with different types of flame retardants can achieve better flame retardancy
4. Not suitable for thin-walled (below 1.0mm) PC products with flame retardancy
